Objectives of this workshop?

The purpose of this workshop is to review of our learnings on Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 and its amendments and Bangladesh Labor Rules 2015. This will provide us clarifications of certain legal issues that we are facing on our day-to-day operations in workplace, such as:

Mr. Md. Jahangir Alam started career in HR about 18 years back in Beximco Textiles Division. Now he is known as General HR and Compliance Practitioner as well as Labor Law Consultant. As professional, he gained expertise in the field of human Resources, factory compliance and organizational development in line with legal base. Mr. Alam is a business graduate. He also did his graduation in LLB and completed MBA in HRM from the University of Dhaka, and Advance Diploma in HR from UK (Association of Business Executive, London). Presently, he is now working as Head of HR& Compliance in a large Group of Company.He also worked in Gemcon Group, Viyellatex Group, and EPIC. His area of expertise includes mainly HR Budgeting, Policy Formulation, Manual & SOP Development, Training and Development, KPI setting and Performance Management, Job Analysis, Job Evaluation along with Job Grading, Pay Structure & Compensation, Recruitment & Selection, IR, Organizational Development, Change Management, etc. He has in-depth knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law 2006, Labor Law Rules 2015, Factories Rules 1979, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Act 2003. Till today, Mr. Alam conducted many workshops on Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 and Bangladesh Labor Rules 2015, and many other core HR issues. He also wars as Trainer and Labor Law Consultant, and write article on different contemporary HR and Compliance issues. Already 14 articles were published.
