Joyshree Das is currently serving as a Deputy Director at the Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI). She joined the organization in 2007 and is presently assigned to the Management System Certification (MSC) Wing, where she plays a significant role in certification and compliance activities.
She earned her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Jahangirnagar University. Later, she completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a major in Human Resource Management (HRM). She also obtained her MPhil degree from the University of Dhaka and is currently preparing to pursue her PhD at Jahangirnagar University.
To strengthen her professional expertise, Ms. Das has successfully completed a wide range of specialized training programs, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO/IEC 17021:2011, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, Halal Certification for Food Industries, and an e-learning course on Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001). She has also completed Internal Auditor Training and Assessor Training on ISO/IEC 17065:2012 for certification bodies certifying products, processes, and services. In addition, she has undertaken ICT training focused on implementing e-Governance, e-Learning, and Computer Networking. Her professional development includes both local and international training programs in countries such as India, Japan, and Sri Lanka.
Ms. Das has conducted numerous Basic and Internal Audit Training Courses on ISO 9001 for senior and mid-level executives from various industrial organizations. She has led and participated in a substantial number of audits as a Lead Auditor and Team Leader across different institutions. Furthermore, she carried out a research study titled “HRM Policies and Practices of BSTI,” which received appreciation from the organization’s top management.
