Sharier Mahumud Tushar

Regional Human Resources Business Partner

SHARIER is Nielsen’s Country Head of Human Resources and HRBP for South Asia East Market’s Bangladesh cluster. Here he is responsible for Nielsen’s global HR strategy, which is all about empowering people to enable business success. In this role, Sharier delivers world-class programs to create a positive Nielsen employee experience and build a culture where associates can be themselves, make a difference and grow within the organization. He leads Nielsen’s Bangladesh HR team and working closely with Nielsen’s South Asia HR team (India, Sri Lanka, Nepal & Bangladesh), overseeing talent engagement and development, training, compensation and benefits, talent acquisitions and retentions.

Sharier joins Nielsen from Beximco; one of the largest conglomerates of Bangladesh with an annual turnover of USD 1.5 billion. Where he was responsible for more than 13,000 employees with 7 different legal entities. Before joining BEXIMCO, he used to work for Grameenphone Limited (Telenor Group)a global organization with over 4,000 employees in Bangladesh market operations.


Apart from the professional background, Sharier is active in a wide range of global professional certifications on HR; He is a Telenor certified “Human Resources Business Partner” and also having a global certifications on “International Human Resource best practices& Industrial Relations” jointly awarded by United Nations and ITC – ILO Turin, Italy.

Recently he has completed “Strategic Human Resources Management” certification course from MERCERUSA; world’s largest Human Resources consulting firm. Sharier earned his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
